What we do

We have been designing and developing games as a company since early 2008. Following over a year of intense work we initially built up an extensive portfolio of products and concepts. Our first games came to market in early 2009 with the worldwide release of the NX2 Series. More products will be released soon.

NX2 ('Nex’-To') / NX2 Roulette is the world's fastest Roulette game, allowing players to cover 3 numbers next to each other around the wheel at odds of 11-1. Players can also place bets on a streamlined, 'high-odds'-only version of the traditional layout.

Who we are

Random Games Limited are Robert Chalk, James Curwen and Matthew Andrews. Between us we have over sixty five years' experience in the casino industry. Robert is responsible for game concepts, odds, mathematical analysis and compliance, while also taking charge of the day-to-day business of running the company. James deals with concepts, concept development, real-world testing and is in charge of sales. Matthew oversees all aspects of branding, artwork and visuals as well as marketing, publicity and online content.

Robert Chalk has 43 years' experience in the gaming industry and is a well respected member of the British Casino Association. In the past he has been club director at Maxims and The Golden Horseshoe, and has also worked at Ladbrokes Casino Hill Street, Chesters and Crockfords. In recent years he has consulted on compliance issues to a number of top London casinos. His expertise in this area as well as a solid understanding of mathematics, game rules and odds means Random Games' products are always developed from a well-trusted foundation and analysed thoroughly to ensure they are as secure as possible and all game margins appeal to both players and operators.

James Curwen James has 22 years' experience in the gaming industry during which he has worked at clubs in the UK and abroad. These have included The Ritz, Les Ambassadeurs, 50 St. James, The Sportsman, Grosvenor Gloucester Road, and Ladbrokes Casino & Sports Bar in London, while in South Africa he was at The Sun International. Having worked at all levels from dealer up to club director he has a real operational understanding of what works in casinos and what doesn't. James' personal passion for gaming gives him a vital perspective from which he is able to see and break- down games and systems from both an operator's and a player's perspective.

Matthew Andrews Matthew has worked in the creative and media industries for the past 8 years. His family's involvement with gaming brought Matt into contact with the casino industry and has given him an in-depth insight into the business over many formative years. This understanding allows him to develop Robert and James' ideas and concepts with real understanding not only of the traditional casino games but also the psychology that is so specific to casinos in particular and to gaming in general. He works mostly as a freelance designer in London.
